Velux alternative?

Hi guys, just about to do a loft conversion and wondering if there’s a alternative to velux at a much cheaper price, without sacrificing quality and reliability? Thanks

Lots I think. All UK sold roof windows will need to meet building standards, U values etc?
Can't remember what I had installed now, but would have been cheaper than Velux!

I just searched for cheap roof windows, and Sunlux came up - I bought a loft ladder from them last year! Can't personally recommend the windows, but was happy with the company.

The idea that you can have equal quality at a cheaper price is always a fallacy. If you are flipping the house, then it doesn't matter to you. If you are staying in it, personally I would go with Velux.

I understand what your saying, but I’m mid 60s and I don’t wanna live forever...

Well which ever brand you choose you had better be quick as most of the major companies are adding 10% to their prices soon.
