Hi. I have a gravity fed heating system and am trying to figure out if the feed and vent are in the right place as I've noticed the feed gets very hot, right the way to the upstairs ceiling where as the vent remains cold.
The vent and feed have been put within 150mm of each other just before the on the return side of the boiler where as all diagrams I've seen show it on the flow(?)pump suction side.
Does it matter which side of the boiler they are?
