Vent Pipe

Hi,

Long time lurker, great forums, love the advice & banter...

Anyhoo, here's my problem - stripping out my old (small) bathroom and at the tap end of the bath is the vent pipe running vertically.

Its an old, 1970s, ugly beast, 110mm and, here's the killer it sits around 260mm away from wall and is a right pain.

It was boxed in, but the boxing restricted the taps operating and the wood (from the boxing) had seen better days so i've removed the boxing.

My question is, what are my options for this damn pipe...??

From what i can gather i could fit an AAV & box this in or step down and make the pipe smaller / move the position closer to the wall and allow for neater / smaller box job, or angle pipe and then run pipe in the corner

What is easier and will look neatest? I want to keep costs down & do my self

I'd be cautious about fitting an AAV unless you've another vent elsewhere on the property. Reducing down the dry section would be a better option IMO. Drop to 82mm and use a couple of 90 °'s to move it into a corner. (Bends in the dry section aren't an issue),
