ventilation for loft conversion (ed.)

Hi converting my loft .using rigid board between rafters leaving 50mm gap for air path between rigid board and roof felt .was just wondering i have eave vents both sides . But I think I have mortar ridge . Will the eave vents be good enough or will I have to instal ridge vents also thanks

Should install ridge vents if the insulation is all around the circumference of the roof.
I did loft conversion many years ago, then a few years later I looked into ventilation and fitted 4no ventilated slates(the type you use for air extract from bathrooms) to save replacing the ridge tiles.
There are calculators to work out area of free ventilation you should have.
