Ventilation

I have an extension at rear of house with a false ceiling an no ventilation. Black and green Mold has appeared along one corner (top to bottom) of the window wall. I believe this is due to no ventilation. I know i need to place an air brick in the wall but im not sure were i need to put it??

do i place it above the false ceiling line Or below?
