Versa lam beam

Hi chaps

Could someone help me find what weight a versa lam beam can carry please.
Trawled the net and I can't make sense of the load tables.
My local alsfords can supply the beams but didn't seem very knowledgeable about them.

The load that the beam can carry depends on;

1. the cross-sectional size of the beam;
2. the span;
3. how the load is distributed along the span (is it uniform, or a series of point loads, or a combination?);
4. how much deflection you are allowed or can tolerate.

Once you know these, looking it up in the load/span tables should be fairly staightforward.
