Calling all plumbers!

I recently had a new oil boiler and mains pressure cylinder fitted (with the view to going solar in time). It worked fine for 2 weeks, but has just started making vibrations that resonate in the upstairs rads loud enough to wake us up in the mornings. The vibrations are originating from within the cylinder and start when the hot water comes on (heating not in use at mo). The vibrations last for about 10 minutes, possibly until the water has warmed up. Any ideas why this has started to happen and how to cure it?

Thanks,

Richard

If it has only been fitted for two weeks,The obvious answer is to get the installer back to check it.

Get him to check the pre-charge pressure.

What fittings have you got on the primary circuit.

Is the 2port valve opening or wired correctly through the thermal cut-out
