hello, i'm slowly renovating a victorian terrace house and have found the original hallway tiles under the old carpet they're not in the best of nick but i want to keep them exposed. One problem i have is that where there was rotten old wood panelling on the wall which has now been removed there is a gap between the edge of the tiles and the bottom of the wall.Skirting board alone won't cover this gap what is the best way to sort this without putting wood panelling back on?. Also what is the best way to clean these tiles to get them back to almost their former glory.
