Well thats helpful? They have worked fine for 11 years without a problem and as yet no one has said the thermostat is at fault. The boiler has only been in for 9 months

id get a better stat, the boilers are very good they are my 1st choice, you would have to let us know what stat you have 1st
youll need a multimeter with a continuity tester ie buzzer and make sure you get a buzz when it turns off and on over the right terminals
get a new one they are cheap
id get the similar honeywell one, should be similar wiring, depends how confident you are, if worried just get the straight replacement
