Hi,
I have an issue where we occasionally (once a fortnight) discover we have run out of hot water despite being at a time where there should be demand for DHW.
On these occasions I check the programmer and the boiler is not firing up. The diagnostics on the programmer itself shows the temperature of the water in the cylinder is lower than the set temperature for the hot water but it doesn't seem to trigger the boiler.
I have heard this could be the diverter valve, but it is curious that I can remedy the situation simply by turning the boiler off and on again. This seems to give it a kick up the backside and realise it needs hot water and will start the boiler.
Could this be the programmer/logic board or could a faulty diverter valve cause this issue too?
Thanks
