Vinyl Flooring

My first visit folks.
Can anyone tell me the best way to move a Washing machine onto new Vinyl Flooring without damage to the flooring thanks Jim.

If possible lift the machine as close as possible to where it has to go. If you have to slide it put a folded blanket underneath. Once it's in front of its position you can lift the front and it should roll back into its aperture. You could leave the blanket at the front until it's finally in place but that shouldn't be necessary.

Don't forget to check the level of the machine once it's in position.

Thin plywood or hardboard should protect it.
