laying vinyl over a mastic floor

Hi everyone

I intend laying vinyl over a mastic floor in my kitchen(mastic residue left from old vinyl tiles) and would like to know the following.

Can I prepare the floor with garage floor paint to prevent the mastic bleeding through to the vinyl.

Is there any other type of sealer I could use.

Could I concrete screed directly over the mastic.
