Hello people
I'm new to this place - please be gentle
I need to deal with a very bizarre crazy-paved style bathroom floor which is very uneven and has huge craters. It's horrible. I think it would be a hell of job to remove it, and the plan is to lay some vinyl tiles over it. I realise this nightmare floor would have to be levelled first but I have no idea how to do this. I've looked into some sort of screed/self-levelling compound but am I right in thinking this is only suitable for only slightly uneven floors? Is laying ply the best way forward? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
