vista "box"

upgraded my xp to vista, I know everyone said not to,
On the xp at the bottom left there was a little box.
where you could type in ms paint, msconfig etc.

Where is it on vista or does it not use it.
so far it seems ok , but I want to see what starts up as it seems a bit slow.

You mean the run... dialogue? If you type the same thing into the search box at the bottom of the vista start menu it automatically runs it rather than searching for it - eg. I just clicked the vista start button then immediately typed "cmd" then hit enter and up came the command prompt - had me going for a bit when I first got vista as can't be doing with navigating the start menu and control panel for everything (especially "calc" and "cmd" and "msconfig"!)
