My new boiler came with an internal diverter valve (which wasn't wanted or expected). Could the boiler be converted (yes I know about warranties) to have two external Honeywell zone valves?
Anything made of ABS plastic cracks/falls to bits in a few years of use, hence external valving.

You dont need to convert the boiler, you can use two zone valves and its just a tweak on the parameters.
