Hi all

I was wondering if someone could help me out, my vivaro 52 plate 2003 was left standing for about 3 weeks, then it would not start, i got it taken in and was told the high pressure pump had gone, had that changed, filter replaced, fuel lines and tank all cleaned through and cam belt done. the van now starts but when going up to 3000 revs it dies, if you turn the ignition off and then on it will start and run again, the engine mangement light is on so is the stop lamp. i have had a look at it with opcom and i am getting error code P0191 low fuel pressure, another mechanic has told me to change the fuel pressure switch on the common rail, would this solve the problem?
I have also done two read outs if this helps someone tell me whats wrong.

Common Rail Fuel Pressure,36.438 kPa

Common Rail Fuel Pressure,50.353 kPa

Pressure is to low.
1. Not getting fuel from the tank = pipe blocked or something in the bottom
of tank
2. Faulty pressure sensor on the rail and the engine management can't
"see" the correct pressure in the fuel rail.

Thanks for the reply.

The tank and all fuel pipes have been taken off and cleaned so I dont think it is a blockage, another mechanic has also mentioned the sensor on the rail so I have called around and so far it looks like a dealer only part and vauxhall want £296 for the sensor
I have found a place that can do me one cheaper but I need the bosch part number but i can not see it on the sensor
