vokera 20-80 RS

My daughter has one of these boilers and the front panel on which the controls are mounted, has disintegrated.

It seems that the pull down front is actually mounted on the thin panel and over time it has cracked and is now downright dangerous.

Any one know where I can get a replacement front or any other solution. Is it a common fault?

Only from a scrapyard, the boiler's long-since obsolete.

If you get stuck then Chris ( above ) removed one a while ago and has probably still got it at the back of his lockup garage.

Otherwise DP, who runs the Vokera 20-80 restoration society, might be able to come across something for you.
