Vokera 20/80 rs heating on and off...?

Vokera rs flowmatic 20/80 rs..
central heating gets up to temp then cuts out, then comes on then off and so on.. recently changed the limit thermostat as it was clicking on and off all the time up to the point where it would not fire up any more.. is there another stat anywhere... any ideas..?
