Vokera excel 80

Our boiler is having problems in that when the gas valve starts modulating, instead of staying on low the burner goes out completely resulting in a banging noise as it fires up again on full pressure, which is a bit of a pain. Am I right in thinking that it is either a faulty thermistor, gas valve sol., or control board or could the gas valve itself give this problem. Or something else altogether? thanks

Thanks for that, will check those as well, especially the venturi, fan is clean & running ok.

i would be checking the burner pressure first.
