vokera linea 24 - cutting out after 5 secs

same with water and heating, starts up, fan , pump run, aps makes, boiler lights then cuts out and repeats the process, never goes to red light or locks out, just keeps going. every now and again it stays on and hot water is available.

any ideas??

Ps i changed heating thermistor but still same.

of top of my head i couldnt tell u without speaking to manifacturer tech help. im fortunate enough to have spares for this boiler so sometimes instead of getting out the multi meter i just swap it over n see. but im sure there will be someone on the site who will know. but i think with what u have said it very much sounds like ignition board. hope its helped

yeah , cheers, i think i'll try changing it, i thought my self it could be that, and a second oppinion has helped, cheers. i think they are pretty common on these boilers, thanks.

changed a few with same problem just was wierd like u said never went to lockout. goodluck

It will be the ign PCB.

If this is a DIYer then its a risk changing a part without knowing whats actually wrong.

I dont know whats wrong either as I have not seen the boiler or asked the sangoma so I would also guess at the fan PCB too.

The sangoma now says its the fan PCB but she cannot be sure as she usually advises on personal problems rather than boiler faults! ( And she charges £100 subsequently for advice that proves to be correct! ).
