Hi all,

I've got a slighlt problem with my boiler, I've just come back from holiday and my boiler has lost some hot water pressure,

what could be the problem - Ive tried reseting the boiler but this doesn't work, I do have hot water but pressure is a lot lower than it usually is (heating/rads are ok)

is the black tap under the boiler on the right hand side in the correct position? handle should be pointing fully up. there may be a black tap handle behind that, has anyone messed with its position?

nope, all that was done when we went away was just switch off the electrics to the boiler, nothing else. the switch is in the correct position. could the expansion tank be the issue, I 've live at my house for 4 yrs and never needed to recharge it - although i do hear that some need recharging from time to time.

im assuming there is no problem with the mains flow rate. in that case its probably the flow restrictor o-ring has swollen or is blocked, not difficult to repair/remove.

the mains flow is ok no problem there, the flow restrictor o ring...? where's that ? I've just downloaded a PDF copy of the manual for my boiler, this gives me exploded diagrams for the part ..... not sure where i'm looking
