Vokera Linea 726 combi boiler prob

just found this site and thought maybe some one could help me. We are well within winter now and have reached the hard decision of "time to put on the heating" however it does not want to come on! its deffinately set at heating and hot water, ive taken it off the timer and turned up the heat but still no heating. hot water has been fine. any ideas?

Room stat?

Its possible the knob shaft on the boiler is snapped if you turned that to stop heating. Better controlled just by the room stat.

Or there might just be a failed diverter valve. Does it make any noise when you try ot put it on?

it does make a noise when u turn it on. could it be the stop lock? im affraid this is something im not at all familiar with.

Are the rads turned off?

Are TRV pins stuck down?

Run heating for five minutes every week in the summer!
