Vokera Linea24 Combi Boiler

Have a fault on the above system.

Initially no hot water upstairs but heating ok. Now total system has failed with error code 03, indicating fan or flue problem.

Corgi engineer called and fan replaced. Fault still hard.

Engineer has given up!!!!

What can i do??

why on earth did he change the fan? if it was at fault the blades need cleaning or its not working at all.

blocked venturi are a favourite on the these, usually the lower one, 4mm flatblade screwy will clear it without needing to take the whole fan etc out.

if not aps can fail or get affected by heat and be intermittant.

Did he do any diagnostic checks before replacing the fan?

Was the fan actually faulty?
