I HAD MY HEAT EXCHANGER CHANGED 2 WEEKS AGO BUT LAST SUNDAY MORNING MY BOILER RESET BUTTON WAS LIT AND DESPITE MANY EFFORTS TO RESET , THE BOILER FAILS TO IGNITE. THE PRESSURE IS OK.

WHY WAS THE HEAT EXCHANGER REPLACED. EXCUSE ME SHOUTING.

Why dont you call back the engineer who replaced the heat exchanger?

THANKS TONY. I HAVE ARRANGED FOR ENGINEER TO COME BACK TOMORROW EVENING BUT KNOWING NOTHING ABOUT BOILERS I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE SOMETHING MORE BASIC THAT EVEN I COULD FIX.

So the pressure goes to 4 bar, now that is something I would look at first. That might be the reason the heat exchangers are going belly up.
