My boiler has just had its yearly gas safety inspection by scottish gas and they have advised I get a replacement right hand air baffle part no GC 370438 as the one I have at the moment has broken off.
They told me the part is obselete and eventually the boiler may have problems and I may need to consider replacement??
Can anybody help me source this part??

Try Heat Spares in Govan 0141 445 4830

hmm, the baffles on the "SE" are obsolete but i was unaware the "E" models were obsolete now too.

if it's not affecting combustion i don't see the problem, sadly often they do affect the combustion, particularly on vertical flues.

just checked. they are probably the same part as the "SE" and are no longer listed.

Well regardless of the 'listing' parts, they are sometimes available from Spares indie suppliers.

oh i have no doubt that there will be some lying on a dusty shelf somewhere, but seeing as you were having a good old cry about BG i thought i would point out you were talking ****e.

contrary to popular belief, if the parts are not listed on BG's cray super computer there is pretty facking good chance they actually are obsolete.

Gosh, that's quite abusive. I guess you must be on a very short fuse 'dancing for the suits' all day??
