Vokera pin staying out on CH Manifold

Boiler - Vokera 20/80RS Flowmatic

Noticed the Pin staying out when not calling for Central Heating but when you call for Central heating it goes in and the heating comes on - is this normal!!

Thought it was the other way round...

When there is no demand for anything (at rest) the pin from the diverter should be in.

The pin is definately out at rest and goes in when you call for heat

Any ideas?

Yes its normal. Thats why its working!

Pump pulls pin inwards when running.Sometimes they seize inwards so will work but no voltage is passed to 560ohm resister hence no low speed fan & eventually nuisance pilot outage

So nothing to worry about then if the pin goes in when you call for heating.

Just thought it was strange as when you call for hot water, the pin on the DHW side goes out

I am sure before the pin came out but not 100%

Are you on about the boiler flow switch. That pulls in when the pump runs.

Its different from all other boilers just to keep engineers on their toes!
