Hello, im new here but need some advice about my Vokera Boiler. Since having my kitchen fitted and the plumbing changed slightly underneath the boiler, I have a slight leak of water from further up inside the boiler, about a dessert spoon per night, thats all. It only seems to leak when the boiler is NOT on, however this could be due to the fact the pipes inside the boiler are hot and it could be evaporating. There are no error messages and everything works perfectly, but I live on my own and I worry about being without hot water and heating. It is still under 12 months guarantee with Vokera. Does anyone know what it might be? and what would the manufacturers guarantee cover? Parts AND labour? or just parts? Im yet to get through on their phone lines.

many thanks everyone.

If it's over on the left it's quite likely to be the Automatic Air release Valve, which lurks at the back of the pump. It has a plastic cap which has to be left open to let air out, but they can weep. Not likely to flood, if that's it!
It's also possible that disturbing a pipe moved something undone a bit, too.
Check the pressure doesn't drop too low as a result or the boiler may switch itself off.
Can't help with g'tee, but it obviously needs fixing.

If its the AAV leaking as Chris has suggested then it probably will not be covered by the warranty as the cause is almost always due to dirt in the system which is not the Makers responsibility.

If a boiler part really fails then the makers guaranty covers parts and labour.

Since its either the installers or whoever did the pipework modification why not call them back?

Many thanks for your help! My central heating system is crystal clear, two of the rads were replaced about 3 months ago and the whole system is clean. I have called the people that fitted the kitchen, and they said that they know nothing about boilers so cannot help! Great aint they!
