Vokera Maxin leak nightmare

I have exactly the same problem with my maxin 28e and have ordered the T0058 Kit to repair (18.99 next day delivery from ebay), I thought I might as well replace the whole lot as I am in there, even though it's probably just the O' ring. Any advice for this job would be appreciated. e.g. where is the lowest draw-off or drain tap on hot water system.
