Walk in shower

Hi, My bathroom is on the ground floor and has a solid floor, it has a seperate room within it where the toilet is which i intend to turn into a shower wet room.Ive moved the toilet into the bathroom but because of the solid floor i have to raise the floor in the wet room to allow for the shower drain trap(still with me?) Is this just a case of raising using timber with a slight fall towards the plug then tiling over it using waterproof grout or will the wood have to be treated and do i have to put in an inspection hatch?

Yes ... raise the floor and put a run in it, but you need more than waterproof grout.

You need to fit a waterproof membrane and it's a special drain that you need to give a waterproof seal I'm doing the same project.
