Hi All.

I am looking to do some renovation and was wondering what the best way is to waterproof the following bathrooms in the scenario described.

Ground floor:

Concrete floor, and the wall is a solid 9" block, i intend to have a shower in the corner, just a shower tray and the floor/wall will be tiled.

First floor

Suspended floor board, I only have a 6mm cement board earmarked for here. I intend to tile the floor and wall.

Loft floor

Timber frame, Suspended floor board, I only have a 6mm cement board earmarked for here. 12mm cement board for the walls of the bathroom. I intend to tile the floor and wall.

I have been reading about wet rooms etc, and I just wanted to make sure that I am up to date with recent developments on how to waterproof the areas described above. I am not having a wet room, I just wanted to know what kind of materials/precautions to take to ensure that I do not make any blunders.
