Hi Guys,

Can you please give me some advice about shower waterproofing.

I will be installing a shower enclosure in my upstairs bathroom , one wall is a solid wall (concrete bricks) another wall is currently a plywood box with all the pipework inside.

- How do I waterproof the solid wall before tiling? I will remove the old plaster off that wall first, then do I just apply a few coats of waterproof material and tile, or do I need some covering boards?

- the plywood box, I planning to rebuild it using hardybacker, do I need to waterproof hardybacker in some way before tiling?

Thanks for your help!
