Hi, Can you help. I have bought a house that has a downstairs bathroom. At present the shower is a walk in type with the drain built into the solid floor. The basin and BD also hook into this drain. It then runs in to the hall (in the extension) where there is a gully arrangement. There is a toilet in the bathroom which has it's own waste pipe which runs out to meet the upstairs toilet down pipe. I want to do away with the drain in the floor and the gully in the hall and have all of the waste traps discharging into the toilet drain. I have found a suitable connector to fit into the toilet waste so that I can do this. My question is:
How do I block the old drain correctly? There are 2 openings 1 in the shower and one in the hall (which has a grate).
