hi we have a blocked toilet or drain. when you flush the toilet the bowl fills and takes a long time to de fill. if you flush the toilet and then shower, the outlet on the floor (that the bath and sink run into) floods.

do you think its the toilet or drain?
i can access the toilet from the back on the other side of the wall- should i open this? we have tried plungering bhoth toilet and the floor access but to no avail.

cheers

This is a UK plumbing forum and the methods of doing things can vary considerably.

Most people prefer to call a specialist drain firm but if you like getting messy then its hardly rocket technology.

Just get acccess to the pipework and try using some drain unblocking rods or just a stick ???

You can try a chemical unblocker, but there's a risk of damaging your pipes. Most rodding kits sold to the public are useless, so if the chemicals don't work I'd suggest calling in the experts.
