Hi there,

Im about to wall mount a tv in my bedroom and would like to hide all wires in the wall.

The power socket and aerial point are directly below where the tv will be mounted. The wall is a stud wall.

I'd like to take a spur off the socket below, run the cable inside the wall and put a new socket behind where the tv will be.
Id also like to somehow attach the Ariel cable to the back of the existing socket. Effectively moving both points up behind the tv.

Could someone tell me if this is the right thing to do, or perhaps offer better solutions?

Thanks

Sounds fine.
You could disconnect the ariel cable from the outlet plate and bring it directly into the back of the tv, hopefully the cable is coming down the way and you can pull it up.
