How long do a have to wait before i can wall paper my new plaster which has just been emulsioned any advice very welcome.
cheers

Id give it a month at least...the plasters isnt so much of a problem its the new woodwork...thats bound to shrink a little.

When you do paper it you might want to think about lining the walls first to give you a good surface to paper over

If the plaster has been painted with contract emulsion then make sure you size it first with thinned down emulsion or a 4 to 1 mix of PVA to reduce sucktion and allow you to be able to slide the paper about a bit when positioning it.

If you dont line the walls it will also help stop the paint from lifting should you need to lift the paper a few times.
