question ./ how do you put the control knob back in the right place on the spline on a honeywell room stat after removal .? i noticed the control knob on ours was split [ been bashed at some point and caused a slight crack ] and when altering it wasnt allways turning the main shaft ./ so i took it off and sorted it with a bit of superglue ./ but didnt look to see where it was pointing as i thought it was on a flat sided shaft . but its a spline . :( it had moved anyway./
going by the temp, and the borometer, in the hallway i have it nr enough right [ i think ] :)
anyway the metal back plate inside has 27 on the bottom left and 13 on bottom right also a 1 at central top ? . any advice welcome :) . [ helpfull sort ] :) .

this might also answer a post i put on here a while back abot the temp i have it on where some one asked was i born in the arizona dessert :D . cheers. r.r. ps. the control knob starts at 10c and goes up to 30c.

Employ a thermometer and set the dial to mid-click for the temperature!
It makes no difference as long as you're comfortable...

thanks chrisr/ ya i thought of doing that as i said i think its nr enough as it was, as i can go by the click as it switches into contact , i just thought there might be a proper way to put it back on . thing is it works anyway ./ cheers.r.r.
