walls in bath room

Hi all im dave i just bought a new shower but the tiles only go up the wall a few feet so when i have a shower the wallpaper will get soaked, is there a waterproof paint about that i can coat the wall with that wil cope with the water from the shower

Is tiling the rest of the wall not an option?

MarkBarl hi mate. to be honest i have just bought this flat and i am going to redo the bathroom in a few years but i cant handle another bath so i bought a ts1850 shower and fixed to the wallpaper i just want a cheap solution for the time been as i dont have much cash untill i get some saved.

Stick a roll of clear Fablon over the paper.

Or you could always hang a shower curtain against the wall; the old house I moved into had only half tiles on one wall over the bath but had a shower curtain against the wall; it seems to have worked OK like that for years as no damp in the wall when I refurbed the bathroom.
