hi,i have nice coveing and really want to keep it but my ceilings are in need of plasterboarding as they are in poor condition.
at present they are lath and plaster,i really do not want to disturb the existing ceiling.
i believe there is a channel that can be screwed to ceiling around the perimeter,butting up to cove.
i am looking for more info/supplier of this channel as i want to plaster board directly onto lath and plaster existing ceiling.
plasterboard to be screwed through laths to joists above,old house.

use plasterboard edging bead around the plasterboard edges and set the plasterboard back by a couple inches or so when skimmed it looks like part of the coving profile http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.j...mpid=4&tmad=c&ecamp=cse_go&CAWELAID=266888361
