Wanted: Door Sill recommondation

Hello DIY'er,

I need to order a door sill and I have no clue what to buy and really would appreciate a recommendation.

When we moved into the place someone kicked off the old sill which was only glued onto the floor. The landlord's odd job guy will be coming next week and he will put in the new one, but for some reason he can't buy one himself, so I have to order one but I have no idea what to get and could use a recommendation.

Main purpose of the door sill would be that no water comes in, that no bugs can crawl in and some sound proofing.

I'd really appreciate help with this! Thanks in advance.

Ideally need a new wooden sill either with a rebate on the bottom of the door or as below diagram

In the meantime I purchased this: http://www.screwfix.com/p/compression-draught-excluder-gold-anodised-914mm/31020?_requestid=150077 and fixed it myself as I wanted to get rid of the gap (a huge spider slipped in Iiiih!)

I fixed so it seals with the weather bar because the door is crooked and rehanging wasn't really an option.

Problem solved. The gap is now well sealed.
