Is the paving bedded in cement, or just on sand? It might be possible to lift & replace (probably best done by a paving expert) without too much aggro.
He has two areas paved, so rock and hard place one way or the other.
As other area is the drive and likely hood of other services and that's the direct route, trying to avoid that option.
The distance between posh shed like log cabin/hideaway.
Is approx 20 metres taking my prefered route, with straight wall.
Outside lights not sure about that, the guy already has his own lamp post lighting in garden.
Have you considered embedding the SWA in the wall. If it is a dry stone wall without any mortar then in theory the top can be easily dismantled for a few inches, the cable laid along the middle of the exposed surface and then the top replaced.
Could be a jig saw puzzle but by marking the top stones with rain soluble paint before you remove them would reduce the puzzle a lot. A few stones may have to be notched to fit over the cable.

The only modification I'd suggest to that is not to fiddle with a DSW yourself, it's a specialised art, and it only looks easy when an expert with years of experience does it.
