warm air heater removal?????

in my flat hallway there is a boarded up warm air heater, i removed the board and the gas has been disconnected but all the old timer etc is still there, is it safe to to remove all the old heater timer, vents etc and just use the area for shelving.

Yes you can remove it, but be careful, as some of these have asbestos inside them. I don't know which models, but contact the manufacturer, HSE or Google for details
