Changing my electric shower, including the pipework. I want to come straight down the wall, behind the shower, come out of the wall at 90 degrees then up another 90 degrees into the shower inlet. In effect a 180 degree turn.
The old shower was in the same place but its pipework came down an adjacent wall, turned 90 degrees, then another 90 around the corner and finally another 90 up to the shower. In effect the 180 turn is spread out. Is it better to have done it lioke this? Resistance due to bends?
