Possibly not. Someone bought my wife a page-a-day calendar of cats, some (most? all?) were pictures sent in by previous readers. One picture showed a cat called 'wânkér'.
Edit: The software replaced the cat's name with a string of asterisks. I added some diacritics to get round that. I would not do so except that it is a quote and the whole point of my post.
