How do I fix the end of the drainage pipe to my washing machine tightly so that it doesnt leak? I may be missing a part, but don't know what it's called! I only have a corrugated pipe which at one end has a rubber fitting (presumably to attach to the sink drainage pipe) but the washing machine-end is bare. Please help!

it soundslike you are refering to a spiggot (courugated pipe) there is usualy a piece on yor sink waste thta unscrews and you take out a "blank" and put in the spiggot.

the thing is spiggots will block, fit a standpipe, better and easier
