washing machine drip noise

Ive noticed that some times when I take the clothes out the bottom ones still are wet. Well the other day I noticed a slow drip noise from inside the washing machine ( where the basket is) The bottom of the basket had standing water, and when I moved the basket back and forth you could hear the water sloshing around. Any idea? Hopefully maybe something simple like Im overfilling it or need to check the drain. Please relpy

Check the lint filter in the little drawer at the bottom.
