I'm having the same problem of clean water filling up in the machine between washes. You suggest that the problem is likely faulty valves. To a novice like me, can you please clarify if this means the the hot and cold valves in my kitchen into which the washing machine pipes are plugged into? Are these straightforward to replace if I turn the mains water supply off or do they require a plumber to do the job properly.

Thanks!

No, I believe he meant the inlet valves in the washing machine.

Appreciate the clarification. Do washing maching valves have standard inlet valves which can be purchased from a plumbing supplies store or do I need to contact the manufacturer to get a valve which is specific to my unit.

Thanks!
