Washing machine has just stopped working

My Servis 1200 stopped part way through a cycle with water in the drum and I had to manually drain the water.
The power light comes on and I can hear the click of the door lock engaging but none of the programme cycles will respond at all.
Any ideas or advice would be gratefully received.

i am not familiar with servis, i should say door interlock / its connections the fact you hear a click is irelivant in this instance, also see here

I have had this problem myself, it might be the vacuum sensor which detects whether the drum is full/empty (just a suggestion).
