Hi,
I have national washing machine. The water which gets filled up to wash is getting leaked in the drain pipe. Why is this happening ? Is it because of scaling
please advice

Srinivas:

The problem is most likely that the drain pipe isn't high enough off the ground.

The end of the drain hose off the back of the washing machine should be at or slightly higher than the elevation of the water inside the machine.

If it isn't, then water will drain out of the machine all the time it's running, just as you've discovered.

You need to raise the end of the drain hose to keep the water from coming out of the machine until the agitate cycle is over, at which time the motor will change it's direction of rotation and both spin the water out of the clothes and pump the water out of the machine at the same time.
