Am quite handy but this got me confiused

I have a 32 mm waste pipe and I know I can shove the washing machine outlet into it but I am not happy with that

How do I connect a McAlpine WMF3 Straight Nozzle to a 32 mm pipe? Or how do I connect an outlet so that it is tamper proof for kids and dogs? Normally screw them in with jubillee clip on a kitchen sink waste but its a utility room

Ideally the pipe size should be 1.5” (41mm and 43mm for pushfit and solvent weld usually) and should also be trapped to prevent smells.

And if there is no air break, the washing machine water will be siphoned out by the drain

Firstly, Washing Machine waste needs to be 40mm (1.5") diameter pipe, 32mm (1.25") may not have sufficient capacity to handle the flow when the machine pumps out, (might cope ok to begin with but over time the waste pipe may well gunge up and you'll have a flood when the water cant get away quickly enough...)

Secondly, the waste needs to be trapped, if you want to connect the machine to an open pipe, then a Standpipe is accepted practice, such as https://www.bes.co.uk/mcalpine-standpipe-trap-40mm-24720/ , using a 'Crook' to make an inverted U shape that hooks into the top of the Standpipe. https://www.bes.co.uk/washing-machine-drain-hose-crook-26964/

This will hold it in place, and helps provide the necessary air gap around the end of the hose.
