I have recently connected a dishwasher with a DIY self taping connection and replaced the u bend under the sink with a two connection type, one for the w/machine and one for the d/washer. ever since I have done that the washing machine doesn't drain water and won't spin beacause there is water in the machine. Please advise why? Cheers

Washing machine will not drain

take the drain connection back off and either remove the blanking plug or cut the end off the connector they are supplied blanked (usually)
